Each language is spoken with a voice that sounds natural to native speakers — not a robotic translation, but a voice with the right accent, rhythm, and intonation.

Automatic language detection​

You don't need to configure a language setting. Agents automatically detect the language being spoken and respond in that same language. If you're speaking French, the agent responds in French. If you switch to Spanish, the agent follows.

If you want to practice a language, speak in that language — agents respond in whichever language they detect you speaking.

Switching languages​

Want to change languages mid-conversation? Simply start speaking in the new language. The agent will detect the switch and respond accordingly. This makes agents especially useful for multilingual sessions or language practice where you want to move between languages naturally.

Tips for the best experience​

  • Speak clearly — Clear speech helps the agent identify your language accurately, especially in noisy environments.
  • Give it a moment — When switching languages, the agent may take a beat to detect the change. This is normal.
  • One language at a time — For best results, stick to one language per sentence rather than mixing multiple languages in a single phrase.
